Prof. Rachel Thorn 🍉🇺🇦🏳️⚧️🏳️ The example of Ryuichi-kun will encourage many more men to be soft and to show openly and publicly that (1) they are in need of comfort and hold when touched emotionally, and that (2) they acknowledge (and are unresistingly in peace with) the fact that they need such a support from a woman, because they know that that women is grounded, strong and experienced enough to give it, compared to himself who is not. But that is not all yet. The example of Riku-san and Ryuichi-kun will encourage all kinds of people to use body touch, also in public, and also between different genders and between people who are not in a romantic relationship, because body touch is soothing and existential.
This example will have a huge positive impact on role models for all genders: These role models will be human, kind and respectful.
